COLIN GOODENOUGH will be the 5th member of the NCCUA’s “300 CLUB” when he steps onto the field for his 300th BDAFL match.
Colin commenced umpiring in 2006 and, along with his patented headband, has not missed a year since.
Goodenough has officiated in 281 BDAFL matches as a Boundary Umpire. This is an extraordinary 143 matches more than the nearest umpire for the same discipline.
His tally includes; 221 Cup, 20 Plate, 10 Second Division, 10 Reserve Grade, 17 Under 18’s and 3 Women’s Matches.
Colin’s other 19 matches come as a Goal Umpire.
Colin’s Grand Finals include: 2 Black Diamond Cup Grand Finals (2007, 2008); 3 Black Diamond Plate Grand Finals (2012, 2013, 2017); 2 Second Division Grand Finals (2014, 2016), 2 Reserve Grade Grand Finals (2010, 2011), 1 Under 18’s Grand Final (2006) and the Inaugural BDAFL Women’s Grand Final (2015).
Colin has also officiated in two representative fixtures: 2008 Under 18’s and 2009 First Grade.
Along with his wife, Rachel, the Goodenough family have officiated in a whopping 496 BDAFL matches!
