The team out ran, out tackled and had two forwards Brett Eddy and Jake Best absolutely on fire and enjoying some open space to run into. Brett Eddy with 9 goals was sensational and provided highlights that reminded us of our most famous forward Matt Greig. The games was completely won by half time with 99pts to 17!!!!!scoreline.
The Reserves and Under 19 ‘s both won their games, and so did the VFC W team on the lower oval. Unfortunately the severe injury to Penelope Knight very much soured the girls come from behind win. Our thoughts are with Pen, it was a very nasty injury requiring an Ambulance.
The Netball girls also had a huge win on Friday Night for their second win and are looking really good. Yes, they also are undefeated on top.
So after four weeks , we have all our teams on top of the ladder undefeated, including the VFCW team with an incredible percentage of 888. A great start to the new year.
