The Lismore Swans are more determined than ever to bounce back after being shaken up by a strong Byron side on the weekend. This is an all important match for the Swans as it is a knock out match as is every match from here on. The Swans disposal was extremely poor last weekend and the side must turn this around.
Anything can happen in finals footy and the Demons are not to be taken lightly. If Nimbin can string there best side on the paddock then they may challenge the Swans. Last time these 2 sides met the Swans absolutely annihilated Nimbin with the wingmen kicking 15 goals between them and the Swans midfield running riot. The Swans will be keen to repeat this performance however there will be a few changes to the line up from the last time these teams played.
Big ruckman Daniel Flint will return to the side as will Half Forward Jake Ryan who made a comeback against Byron. Roly Wintle will also make a return to the backline. Wes Seewald will return to the side as a focal point at Centre Half Forward after missing last weeks match.
Lismore will travel to Ballina to take on Nimbin this weekend and will play at Fripp Oval for only the second time this season. The large ground will suit Lismore runners, they must take advantage of this and move the ball forward quickly. It is time for the forwards to step up and this week is the time for them to step up. The Swans must keep an open forward line and deliver the ball to Adam Rhodes as much as possible with the forward pockets crumbing at his feet. The Swans must utilise the run and second efforts and run off Wes Seewald at on the centre half forward line.
A strong performance is a must to proceed to the preliminary final as Ballina and Byron watch on.
