A great day was had at the Avoca Football Netball Club today when Maria Smith made a special presentation to a group of our potential leaders in the morning through the Bounce program.
And in the afternoon, former AFL Player, Scott Watters, made a presentation through the Life-Changer program.
Both Maria and Scott were very inspirational in their presentation’s, and the Avoca FNC is very appreciative of them giving up their time, to help our club to be the best place it can for our members, and the up and coming youth of our town.
Scott singled out some of the younger people in the room, and it was great to see them answer him with some enthusiasm, that they wanted to be around good people and for their club to be a fun place.
The club intends holding more of these sessions in the future and if you missed this one, you are encouraged to get along to the next one.
A big thank you to all that attended and a special thank you to the Ladies who provided a great meal during the break.
The Life Changer program continues tomorrow night in Maryborough at the MEC. 6pm.
