Below are the dates, times and information for the final stage of trials for Gippsland FC’s 2018 squads.

Trial Dates and Times

Monday 22^nd & Wednesday 24^th January

• Under 15                   6:00pm – 7:15pm

Monday 29^th January, Wednesday 31^st January & Friday 2^nd February

• Under 13                   5:30pm - 6:45pm
• Under 14                   5:30pm - 6:45pm
• Under 15                   5:30pm - 6:45pm
• Under 16 Boys         7:00pm – 8:15pm
• Under 16 Girls          7:00pm – 8:15pm

Other important dates

• 10^th February            Offers sent via email on or before this date
• 12th-16^th Feb            Information night for players and parents (date TBC)
• 19^th February            Training commences (final squads)
• 15^th April                  Season Begins – Round 1

Pre-season friendlies and the pre-season training day in Inverloch are currently being planned and will likely be held on available Sunday’s leading up to the season commencing (excluding the Labour Day and Easter long weekends).

Trial Information – Under 13-16’s boys & 16 girls

All players should bring a drink bottle and arrive at least 10 minutes prior to each session.

Each session will be held at Trafalgar Recreational Reserve unless otherwise advised.

Offers will be sent via email to all successful and unsuccessful players on or before the 10^th February unless otherwise advised by the coach.

Squads will be finalised at 15-16 players.

Up to three players who don’t make the final squad may be offered a “train on” position.  Train on positions allow the players to train with the squad whilst still playing with their home club. Should a position in the squad arise, the train on players will have the opportunity to join the squad.

Upon receipt of the email offer the player has seven days to accept the offer and pay a $200 deposit, or advise the club that the player declines the offer. The deposit holds the player’s position in the squad and is non-refundable as uniforms will be ordered on acceptance of a position.

After notification of a decline, or seven days without confirmation of acceptance, the position may be offered to another player.

Note: The running of Gippsland FC relies solely on voluntary help from the parents of players within the program. The club has an expectation that the parents of all players contribute in some way to the running of the club. More information will be available at the proposed information night in February.

The total fee structure for the 2018 season will be advised in February.

Trial information – SAP and development squads

Trials for the following squads will be held in March. Information will be available soon regarding the trial dates and times.

• Under 14 development program (girls)
