2018 Winter League Registration Information
Please be aware, all registrations for the 2018 winter league must be completed online at: www.tsssuns.basketball.com.au
We will be capping the number of teams for 2018 due to the impact of the Commonwealth Games on our Club so please register early to avoid missing out for Winter League 2018.

REGISTRATION CLOSES ONLINE – Friday February 2nd, 2018
ALL PLAYERS NEED TO BE REGISTERED TO TRIAL.
Payment Options:
2018 TSS Suns Winter League Club fee: $345 (or U9 $260) plus;
2018 GC/BQ Registration fee: $110 (or U9 $60).
Total cost per player: $455.00 (or U9 $320.00)
Please be aware that all Gold Coast/Basketball Queensland registrations must be paid by 25th January 2018 (Rep players will have already have paid in January)
There are 3 payment options for the TSS Suns Club fee.
Option 1
Club fee paid in full - $345 (plus GC/BQ fee $110) (or U9 $260 (plus GC/BQ fee $60)
Option 2
Club fee payment plan includes a $20 payment plan fee– 3 instalments
1st Instalment - $100 due by 25th January 2018 (plus GC/BQ fee $110 (or $60 for U9)
2nd Instalment - $100 due by 28th February 2018
3rd final Instalment - $165 (or $80 for U9) due by 30th March 2018
Please make sure payments are made by these due dates to avoid your child missing out on playing games.
Option 3
Using “Get Started Vouchers” - Round 11 opens for voucher applications on 24 January 2018.
This year if you are planning on using a GSV, you must still pay the first instalment of $100 plus GC/BQ registration $110 by 25th January. When you receive your voucher, you will need to present it at the trials, or email to the club. We will not be refunding fees for vouchers that are received in round 12.
Uniforms
TSS Suns provide playing singlets for Competition rounds so there are no extra charges for uniforms,however you will need to purchase SHORTS - PLAIN NAVY BLUE, NO STRIPES, NO LOGOS AND NO POCKETS.
Competition Venues 2018
Due to the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast 2018, Carrara is not available until after June 2018
Courts being used are – TSS, Emmanuel College, Tallebudgera, Somerset College and Hillcrest College.
U20 Boys – will be playing Wednesday nights – Somerset College.
U17 Division 1 Boys will be playing Thursday night – Somerset College.
U13 – U17 Girls & Boys – will be playing Friday night – Tallebudgera, Somerset College, TSS, Emmanuel College or Hillcrest College.
U11 Girls and Boys - will be playing Saturday mornings – TSS and Emmanuel College.
Trial Information
Trials will be held at TSS Centenary Centre
Trial 1 Friday February 2nd
Trial 2 Friday February 9th
Trial times and age groups will be published on our Club website in late January
Team selection - ALL players must be registered and attend trials to be selected in a team. If you are unable to attend a trial, you must request an exemption in writing.
Age Groups – Birth Years (January to December)
U11 Girls & Boys – 2008-2009
U13 Girls & Boys – 2006-2007
U15 Girls & Boys – 2004-2005
U17 Girls & Boys – 2002-2003
U20 Boys – 1999, 2000, 2001
Training / Coaches & Team Managers
All team trainings will be held at TSS Centenary Centre
Team trainings days and times will be advised after all teams are selected, and/or once a coach has been appointed to the teams.
Due to the spread of venues this season, we are looking for more coach’s, so If you are interested in coaching or managing a team in 2018, can you please reply to our club email and let us know which age group, and boy or girl team you’d like to nominate for.
Thank you to the coaches who have already nominated to coach.
Unfortunately, coaches who coach more than one team – there are no club requests for next season
