The Preston Bullants Amateur Football Committee and Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Vince Fontana as the inaugural Senior Women’s Coach for the 2018 season.
Vince comes with a wealth of coaching experience and extensive community involvement in Darebin, and President Jon Carter is thrilled to obtain his services.
Vince has extensive coaching credentials in a range of sporting codes which include hockey, soccer and his main passion – Aussie Rules Football. Vince is a secondary school teacher educated at Assumption College in Kilmore, he was also the recipient of the NFL Junior Coach of the Year in 2010.
Vince will bring much needed experience in what the club sees as history in the making with its brand-new Women’s Team for 2018.
Vince is looking forward to the challenge, as he sees team sport as a fantastic avenue for people to develop the essential interaction skills and friendships which lead to community building and success.
Training commences on January 24th at Ruthven Reserve. Further details to follow.
