Our QFA seniors and Reserves, did what no other team has been able to achieve in the 53 year history of our great club.
No team has ever won Premierships in both senior and Reserve garde in the one year but Saturday was a speciel day. Our reserves started the day with a 25 point win with Jeremy Shoenmaker winning the best on ground award.

Then our attention tuned to the much anticipated game v Morton Bay who had already beaten our boys twice during the season but were comprehensivly beaten 2 weeks ago by 80 points.
The game was a tough affair with the Hornets breraking the game open in the second term and led by 32 points at the main break. From this point the boys were never threatened and with Tom Watson( best on ground) marking everything up forward and the like of Chivers and Whitby continually steadying the ship with thier experience, it weas going to be hard for the Lions to reduce the margin.
In the end, it was two flags to the Hornets and the boys celebrated a memorable day for our football club.
Well done to all concerned and a speaciel mention to Brent Evans and Darren Payne for steering the ship.
