Our Senior side went well considering the weather as it was blowing a gale down one end. There were a few changes made in selection this gave old father time (Stu) a go at it again.Ron told the boys to go out and enjoy themselves which they did.
The ball movement was good with Pecka & Cogs running down from half back and DJ blitzing in the mid field with Lewie & Shane O assisting him, this made the forwards big targets Bamf & Hooch kicking a few and old father time Stu showing he still has the body work & know how to pop in 6 big ones and with few more young blokes in Polla, Colla & Harra playing their first game the clubs future looks bright.

Reserves started against the wind and kicked 3 goals 4, they were told to share the ball around
at the quarter time break. The side was a little under manned but still had some quality in it, with out mentioning any names there was a move made by the coach in the second quarter that brought Heidelberg West players to their knees, when
asked to give a chop out the big fellows hand shot to the roof, “I’m in” he was put down forward which seemed to attract 5 operation players the stats read 7 marks, 3 kicks 6 handballs 1 point and 4 assists on goals. After having a brief
chat with the coach that was the end of his game.
The boys were left full of inspiration and pressed on lead by Bobcat. Sarge sloted a couple, Carlo ran well all day with Rick O & Slates as Marty palmed everything our way for Wilson to finish off as the Ressie boys kicked 18 goals 9 points in the final term.
