The Lismore Swans will be determined to turn things around this Saturday after a disappointing performance against Byron Bay last weekend. The Swans will host the Ballina Bombers in a tribute match following the passing of Life Member and former coach Shane Carey.
The Swans will welcome back Jason Bevan into the ruck and half forward Dylan Brooks while Adam Rhodes will be tested after suffering from illness for the last couple of weeks. The Swans will have a few missing from there line up and will not be at full strength however have a strong enough squad to put it up to Ballina. The boys will have to lift there intensity coming into the busy end of the season. A strong performance will be demanded of all players. Pushing to the next contest is a must, our level of fitness must be put to the test on Saturday.
Continual improvement of some players has been a positive however if the Swans are to be competitive on Saturday the team must lift and play as a team. Everyone has to push to win the ball and drive the ball forward. It all starts in the middle of the ground and this weekend the Swans must get first use of the ball to enable opportunities to be given to our forward line to kick a winning score.
