The Club needs your help - Finals @ Le Page

The club needs your help!

This Sunday 20th August the Club will be hosting 12 finals matches at Le Page Park. Finals matches will also be held at Le Page on 27th August and 3rd September.

To be asked to host finals is a wonderful endorsement of our Club by the SMJFL and a great opportunity to promote and showcase our Club.

Hosting these finals matches also provides the Club with an opportunity to raise important funds. The Committee will invest all funds raised on these weekends directly into our 2018 football program.

We need your help!!

Volunteers are needed for various roles next weekend and then the following two weekends. Please take this as an opportunity to put something back into the Club. We have a record number of 7 teams in finals this year. With so many teams playing finals many of our families will be attending games elsewhere next weekend.

All Committee members will be in attendance at Le Page outside of their children's games.

We are estimating between 3,000 and 4,000 visitors to Le Page next weekend. Donating just one hour of your time will be greatly appreciated and is extremely important in ensuring that these finals days are run in the best way possible.

Please sign up today if your child's team is not playing finals next weekend. If your child is playing finals and you can volunteer one hour before or after their game please sign up now.

How else can you help? To cater for the large crowd we need the following items:

Ice Boxes;
large eskies;
portable freezers;
chest freezers that can be accessed on game day when needed;
generators;
A frames or blackboards for signage; and
Access to A3 printing and laminating prior to the day.

We will host 5 Preliminary Final games on Sunday 27th August and 4 Grand Final Games on Sunday 3rd September. The volunteer sign up for these days will be sent out on the Monday prior to each date.
