SENIORS
We travelled to Penrith with several Senior players out. This road trip has been a tough one for us in previous years and we were very focussed to get back on the winners list.
1st quarter saw Penrith play very good man on-man football, tackling and chasing hard to their credit. Our boys kept on persevering and by the end of the 1st quarter we had posted six majors.
After a spray for the backline at quarter time from the Coach, the backline tightened the screws dramatically. 2nd quarter saw our midfield getting on top with JJ and Banga dominating with plenty of possessions. After a 7 goal quarter the day was set up, but would we go on with it?
2nd half saw our boys dominate over the ground through hard work and run which allowed our forwards to kick our biggest score for the year.
Some outstanding players on the day were Barnesy with a 25 possession day out of the forward pocket and JJ and Banga with 34 and 39 possessions respectively and 4 goals each being keys in the big win.

U18’s
Penrith away was our challenge this week and after over coming a persistent home side ,some inaccurate kicking and a serious injury we managed to head off to the Swans with a win under our belt.
We started off well again with 9 scoring shots to 1 in the first qtr, Bubsy with a change of position was mopping up across half/back and well supported by Ralph (Mark.B).
For the next 2 qtrs a determined Penrith made us work hard for our possessions but some accurate kicking at goal could of created some scoreboard pressure. Dylan worked hard through the midfield and Ossie and Mark were great targets up front.
The last qtr saw us kick 4.5 with Dunc finishing with 5 goals, Noni finishing off a solid game and Kyle injecting himself for a good last qtr which saw us run out 50 point winners.
We would like to thank the Club for a great night had by all at the Swans on Saturday night and my thanks to Ed Noney.
Also we send our best to Huddo for a speedy recovery from his broken arm.
