Highlight of last Saturday was certainly the sell-out Ladies Lunch. A fantastic effort by Michelle Hemmings and all the folk that helped her make it such a success. Particular thanks to David Dressing and John Selton for their help. The Senior game was one sided but full credit to Bayswater who kept coming at us right to the end. The better players were Jake Best, Lachie Johns, Tom Schneider, Adam Parker, Robbie McComb, Liam Buxton and Jacob Castricum. The Reserves also had a solid win with Max Healey playing a blinder followed by Matt Garvin, Shehan Kodage-Don, Ryan Phillips, Nick Minchin, Brandon Droessler. No Under 19 game unfortunately, but we had our Glen Waverley Eagles U19’s filling the time slot and they had a monstrous victor with better the players Ben Fraser, Matt Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Jordan Wright, Jack Breteler, Jack Whitbourn. Next Saturday we host Balwyn in a huge game and we remind friends of the late Ken McKenzie that there is a special gathering to “ Have a drink for Ken “. So let’s see plenty of Past Players & Officials join us.
