The Royal Australian Navy sure got onboard with a huge effort towards the Call to Arms campaign held Sat, 09 Aug 08.
The Commanding Officer & crew of HMAS Watson showed their support to the awareness of male cancer with all proceeds raised at Watson, going towards the Penrith Swans fund bucket.
Warrant Officer Tim Badger was on hand to present Club President Paul Swinfield with proceeds totalling $1200.
In a separate effort, Tim also handed over a further sum of $367 which was a collection of funds from our senior feeder club, the Penrith Rams.
The Penrith Swans proudly appreciate the efforts of HMAS Watson and the Penrith Rams.
The Penrith Swans themselves collected donations of $492, which combined with Tim's efforts, totalled an outstanding $2059.
Thanks also to IGA Cranebrook who kindly donated the 10kg block of Cadbury chocolate as well as the 2008 NSW NRL State of Origin jumper.
Thanks once again to all those who contributed to such a worthy cause.
