On such a big occassion as our Old Boys Day, the boys were pumped and determined to come out winners as opposed to the last time we met, when we squandered a good lead to end up with a draw. The game started with the Tigers getting a quick goal, but that was their last for the quarter. Our Roos settled and went on to kick five for the quarter. Simon took some good marks at full forward in the absence of our regular, Milo, and we won most clearances even thougg Wicksy (Tigers ruckman) showed his experience against our younger Carl Horsfall, who mightn't have won many ruck contests but was very good around the ground. Diesel was great at fullback and Ben Adams put his body on the line time and time again. The rest of the game was a great contest with the tigers refusing to give in and the Roos edging their lead to five goals after a gritty last quarter. Well done to Jake who is improving each week and good games also by Dazza, Andy and Grover. With a week off we now need to focus on the up coming month and build our fitness, our team and belief in our ability to succeed this year. Ski

Great day out for the boys, good to see the whole team on the ground. Todays focus was on teamwork and the 1 percenters and all players proved their worth by sticking to instructions and giving 110%.
Good to see Luke Mason back from a long spell and he showed he still has all the skill and attributes he left with.
Excellent all round effort and special mention to Troy Rissman for great vision and leadership, Tarryn Bowers - unselfish use of the body, and Jai Hill - five goals.

A great day for footy and a great result. An all round performance with every player getting their hands on the ball and putting lots of pressure on Easts. Sam Cooper was great as usual at centre half back and our on-ballers played well with Sam Cooper, Nick & Corey delivering well to Ben and JJ setting up a good lead at half time. In the second half JJ went into the ruck and totally dominated. Darcy was great on the wing showing lots of pace and Mitch, Khuno, Harry and Braiden were all great in the back line. The U10's played Easts in what was a enthrawling encounter. Both teams displayed great skills and were eagar for the football. Coolaroo displayed there new skills by making space and parcing the ball around. It was a great game with both teams having equal numbers of players. Well done yet again on a great game.
