Last time these two sides met the Bombers got the better of a young, under strength and injury crippled Swans outfit by using physical intimidation on and off the ball. However to the Swans credit they stuck to there guns took the hits and stuck with the Bombers for most of the match in windy conditions.
The two sides will once again battle it out in Ballina fighting for an edge over the other. The Swans are determined to make a menze and dominate around the ground especially in attack. The Swans will be hoping Adam Rhodes fires back to his best up forward, while Jason Bevan will be assisted by Daniel Flint in the ruck all day. The Swans will be missing a few players as a result of uni holidays, injuries and other commitments however should be able to field a competitive side to challenge the Bombers at Fripp Oval.
The Swans will be full of confidence after a strong come from behind victory over Byron Bay a couple of weeks back. There have been many positive signs coming out of the last few games with many of the less experienced and younger players stepping up to the challenge. All in all after 3 weeks without a game the boys will be itching to get out on the paddick and impress there supporters.
