Colin becomes the first Boundary Umpire to achieve this feat and only the fifth NCCUA Umpire to have officiated 250 BDAFL Matches or more in the one umpiring discipline, joining Darrel Luck (375 Matches as a Field Umpire), John Sullivan (360 Matches as a Goal Umpire), Neville Turner (352 Matches as a Field Umpire) and Lee Gardner (276 Matches as a Field Umpire).
Since joining the NCCUA in 2006 Colin has umpired in 268 BDAFL Matches, including 196 Black Diamond Cup Matches, and 10 BDAFL Grand Finals, including Two Cup Grand Finals.
Colin goes about his umpiring in a quiet, unassuming nature and along with his wife Rachel, a Goal Umpire, and his two children, make an invaluable contribution to the NCCUA and BDAFL.
The entire NCCUA would like to thank Colin for his continued service to football and wish him the best of luck for this milestone match.
