Led by a best on ground performance by Michael Ward, the seniors worked hard all day and deserved their win. The Blues have shown this year that they can play really good football, and Saturday was no exception.
With the game in the balance all day, a 4 goal burst late in the 3rd term gave us the momentum to go into the last qaurter. Mugavin was terrific up forward and showed why he is such a dangerous player. Gaunt and Almond worked very hard all day while David Gazelle showed his versatility by providing lead after lead from Centre Half Forward.
Steven Grummit came into the team for his first A grade game of the year after someinjury issues over the past 16 months. He will continue to get better and will add to the midfeild strenght. It is great to see Danny Campbell finding good form and he continued where he left off from the Springwood game with another fine performance.
All together it was a win we desperatly needed and the weeks break gives Steve and his coaching staff a chance to regroup and prepare for the all important game against Surfers Paridise in 2 weeks.
Well Done guys
