Hi all Diamond Burras and Patron Hugh,
I hope you all enjoyed Easter and didn't indulged in too many chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.
We have had Round 1 and it was an exciting day unfurling 2 premiership flags. The weather was warm and if you looked closely there was an Easter Bunny ( I think BJ Kilty may have helped the bunny out )
in handing out Easter eggs and posing for photo shoots. The egg hunt was a success in playground and there may have been a lot of hypo children after that. The football and netballs sides nearly all won on the day but all over was a successful Round 1.
We are now at Round 2 and going to Woodend this Saturday. Hopefully it wont be too cold and wet this time of year.
We would like to congratulate Diamond Burra, Annette Payne on becoming a grandparent for the 2nd time this week. Quinn Annette Payne was born on Tuesday !8th. April. to Chris and Kerrie.
Annette and John are overseas at the moment and I can see from Annette's Facebook posts, they are wetting the baby's head frequently with all their pub stops in Ireland.
Now down to the business side of this email, if you haven't paid your $120 membership yet, please so if possible. You can pay it by instalments if that is required. Cash, cheque or EFTPOS is available as well as direct payment into club bank account.

It would help the club out if memberships could be paid soon.
Hope to see a few Diamond Burras at Woodend this weekend.
A cheerio to any Diamond Burras that are on the sick list.
Cheers for now,
Dawn.
