MONDAY MATCH REPORT

Round 3 vs Fitzroy Stars Football & Netball Club at Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval.

A complete contrast to our strong win the previous week. We came up against a very hot Fitzroy side who were clearly the better side on their home track. Nethertheless our boys gave everything they had for the majority of the game. A special mention to Ian (jerka) Jenkinson on a fantastic courageous game under tough conditions.
Now we need to regroup for the Diamo game after the break.

Seniors:
Much improved effort from the senior side this week. Our pressure on the ball carrier was really pleasing & our ability to play the game the way we wanted to was also an improved effort from last week. To be 3 goals down at 3/4 left us with belief we could get the job done, but unfortunately our boys just ran out of gas & Fitzroy were able to kick away and win comfortably in the end.
