2016 JUNIOR CLUB PERSONS OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to our Junior Club Persons of 2016 -
Brianna Johnson and Kyal Robinson.
Brianna started playing basketball for Phoenix in the winter of 2010 in u12/s and has always been reliable, committed and willing to fill in for other teams when required. She has recently given up playing due to study commitments but has continued with her role as coach, giving back to the sport by imparting her knowledge to a team of u12 girls who are playing in the Prelim final this weekend.

Kyal has again been awarded the Junior Club Person of the year as his passion and enthusiasm for the game is also being passed on to others. After several seasons as an assistant, he was promoted to coach of an u10 boys team. Whilst these boys did not make finals they have certainly improved greatly from Kyal's dedication to our club and the sport he loves. As a Coach, a player and also a referee, Kyal has an abundance of basketball knowledge.
