The Western Jets have moved to third on the ladder after yet another come from behind win against Bendigo on Sunday.
The Jets once again started poorly and found themselves playing catch up footy with the Pioneers kicking 5 first quarter goals. They trailed at the first break by 2 goals. It was a similar story in the 2nd quarter. Bendigo looked the better team and at once stage took the margin beyond 5 goals before a couple of late goals saw Western keep the half time deficit to 17 points.
Post, Haby, and Schroder lifted after half time and with Jack Fitzpatrick again providing a good target up forward the momentum swung a bit towards the Jets. Although they looked more dangerous, Bendigo still managed to lead by 10 points at 3 quarter time.
Once again for the Jets to win they needed to come from behind at 3 quarter time. They hit the front early in the last after kicking the first 2 goals only to see Bendigo hit back shortly after. But late goals to Post and then the sealer to Sherlock gave the Jets their 5th win of the season and has them facing top of the table Murray at Burbank on Saturday at 2:00pm
