The Lismore Swans have defeated the Nimbin Demons in perfect conditions to get back on the winning side. The Swans were challenged all day by a quick and tough Nimbin outfit but responded well with a few players stepping up to the next level to assist the side to a 75 point win.
The Swans struggled to kick the goals early in the first term but got there act together when Jason Bevan finally slotted through the Swans first major. Ox and Tangles worked well in the ruck together giving the midfielders first use of the ball all day. Angus Legoe and Phil Tsourlinis were strong in defense while Dylan Brooks played brilliantly standing tall at centre half forward assisted by Chris and Riley who were great in only there second game of AFL football. George Massa returned from injury while Eddie Burton, Josh Mapstone and Daniel Bruce continued to drive the ball forward.
In the end the Swans prevailing over the Demons 20.19-139 to 9.10-64.
