A 10 goal second term burst by the New England Nomads has set up a massive win for the reigning premiers, continuing their dominance of the Inverell Saints.
It became nothing more than a training drill for the Nomads as they went onto to win 23.13.151 to 5.6.36.
The Saints kicked the first goal of the game via the boot of Keiran Te Velde but the visitors started to dominate late in the term to go into the first break up by five points.
Dave Richards and Cameron Graham booted three goals each in the blistering second term to set up a 61 point lead at the main break.
The second half was dominated by Nomads forward Ethan Karpany who booted six goals for the half, ending with eight goals for the match.
Although they fought on gamely, the Saints lacked intensity, fitness & skill for most of the game which Coach Hayden Chappel will need to address sooner rather than later.
They will now lick their wounds as they enter into the Club bye next weekend
