As usual we did award the Special Vermont Anzac Medals on Saturday for performances demonstrating the Anzac spirit. The winners were Robbie McComb (snr.) - pictured left , Luke McComb (Res.), Jack O’Keefe (Ver U19) and Lachie Pickering (GWE U19) . Congratulations to all of the recipients. The Seniors despite losing two key talls in first quarter, did a great job and finished strongly for a good win. Better players were Cam Howat, Robbie McComb, Daniel Reid, Lachie Carey, Jake Best. The Reserves also had comfortable win with best players Luke McComb, Matt Garvin, Ryan Phillips, Tom Castledene, Joel Bleize. The Under 19’s ran riot with better players Jack O’Keefe, Hamish McGowan, Pat Wallis, Tom Jacotine, Joel Cendamo. The GWeagles U19’s continued their good form with better players Lachie Pickering, James White, Matt Sevior and Fraser Kenny. SOCIAL :- Saturday week we have the Past Players & Officials Reunion Day. Membership of $30 is payable at function. The Player Auction is in progress with chart on Social Club wall. $250 max price and share are available for $50.
