Successful Season Start
Yes, we got our teams on the park on Sunday, fully equipped with coaches, managers and uniforms. Only a few players could not be registered in time.
We had a good mix of wins, draws, a few unfortunate last minute forfeits from opposition clubs and yes, some losses.
A statistical analysis of the matches played for points* shows we had 9 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses. That gave us 29 points out of a possible 54 points available. Which is a club "score" of 54%. (*Remember Mini Roos do not record scores or keep league tables.)

Season 2017 is ours! Go Zebras!
This year we have 26 teams across the club (maybe 27 if we can just get a few more guys over 35 for a Masters team).
As at Wednesday 26 April we have 435 players on our books.
We have 3 senior men's teams, 3 senior womens teams, 8 youth and junior boys teams, 3 junior girls teams, 9 Mini Roos (sub-junior) teams and a Saturday Morning SkillZ program for under 7s with over 50 participants.
To support these teams we have 34 coaches and 30 managers.
Plus behind the scenes work delivered by our club Directors, Club Administrator and canteen and cleaning staff and the tradies others who helped to finish off Balfe Park's new facilities.
