An understrength and injury stricken Lismore Swans side suffered there first defeat last weekend at the hands of Ballina and will be keen to get back on the winners list when they host the Nimbin Demons on saturday.
The Swans will welcome back a number of key players to the side this week and will not lack any physical pressence as some of the Swans bigger men make a return to the squad. Nimbin should not be taken lightly as they proved a handful for Ballina a couple of weeks ago.
Encouraging signs came out of last weeks loss with Adam Rhodes kicking 4 goals and proving a handful for the Bombers defence. Josh Mapstone was brilliant in the second term playing front and centre on the half forward line while Jason Bevan battled hard in the middle of the ground. All the boys stepped up to the physical challange however injuries and the lack of match fitness ended up hurting the young Swannies outfit.
