Round 7 saw Aspley at home against Springwood with both teams desperate to erase their woes of the past few weeks. It was a pleasing sign that the Pumas stayed in the contest and to three-quarter time there was little difference in the scoreline. The final scores were certainly no indication of proceedings for the majority of the match. After being down by plenty in the second quarter and nearly 3 goals at half time, the Pumas fought their way back to lead during the third quarter and were only 5 points in arrears going into the last quarter. At the final siren, they had scored 93 points with full forward Chris Collins leading the way with 5 goals.
Chris Collins was rewarded with 1 point in the Bill Ryan Medal and was named in the PHC "Team of the Week".
All players contributed and it was the Pumas best effort for the season.

This week's game is at home against Noosa who will be sore after their encounter with PBC and have the road trip to Lowe Oval for the first time for a few years. With renewed confidence knowing that they can match it with their opposition, the Pumas will be looking to upset the fancied Noosa sitting third on the PHC ladder.
Reserves 12 noon & Seniors 2.00 pm.
On Sunday, the Under 18s are back home to Alexandra Hills at 10.00 am and it would be good to see the Senior players come down to support them.
