Tonight is a big night for the club! We’re officially training back at the Kennel for all grades of football and senior netball.
We’re holding a BBQ tea for the juniors as part of their jumper presentation night and all families, friends and supporters are encouraged to come down and be a part of this exciting annual event! Tea will be from 6pm and families are asked to bring a salad to share. Cost is a gold coin donation.
Senior footballers and netballers will also have tea after training and we’d love for you to bring a salad to share as well.
Last chance membership tonight as well! If you haven’t paid your membership yet, tonight is your last chance. Be a paid up and proud member of our great club this year. Remember, no pay – no play!
We’ve got a very big weekend planned with our first match against Royal Park at Hedges Oval on Saturday and we’ve also got our Market on Sunday as part of the Pyrenees Unearth Festival and we need your help.
There are roster slots of 3 hour shifts on our BBQ so please contact Alana Burge on 0498 658 788 to put your name down to help.
Set up 7am – 10am - 4 people
Pack up 1pm – 5pm - 4 people
The AFNC have also committed to 5 hours to assist with collecting rubbish (emu bobbing) and packing up the food and wine festival site so we need all hands on deck! If you can only spare an hour or two that would be much appreciated as well.
We are also selling raffle tickets at the ANZAC Day races at the Turf Club, if you can’t help on Sunday at the River Festival, we’d love your help on Tuesday for an hour to sell some raffle tickets (meet at the punters club at 1pm).
It’s shaping up to be great year ahead and we’re looking forward seeing everyone tonight at the Kennel!
