Penrith Umpires off to Coffs Harbour

Umpires for our district train regularly at Greygums on Wednesday evenings.

Many of these are current or former players from clubs in the area and we are very excited about the achievements of two umpires from the Penrith Swans.

Gail Bennett (ex-Auskicker, Auskick assistant coach 2005-2006, current junior umpire) and Luke Hall (current Swans U16 player, current junior umpire) have been nominated and selected to umpire at the State PSSA Carnival in Coffs Harbour [19-23 May 08].

At the Carnival they will have the opportunity to umpire state level Under 12 AFL, and will also take part in recovery and coaching sessions.

Congratulations Gail and Luke, we are very proud of you!

We also take this opportunity to wish the very best of luck to Marcus Pasfield (u11) & Ben Zalac (u12) who will be competing in the Coffs Harbour carnival
