Todays game was our second encounter with Daldy this year, with a similar result, a 100 point hiding. Our mid field players in Jesse, Dan, Matt and Darcy with cameos appearances from Ben, Reece, and Liam had it all over the opposition with Jesse having great pick-up skills through the pack, and continually drove the ball. That was all that was needed as Ayrton was awesome in the 50m zone marking anything that came down even against their best player Jacob Kelly and kicked 5 or 6 goals in the first quarter, pretty impressive start. Actually I think we kicked about 8 or 9 goals before we registered a behind. Matt was a bit slow in the first half due to umpiring the previous two matches however came into his own in the second term just when Dalby looked like they were going to give us a bit of a game. Dan continued to play a better brand of footy and contributed well as did Ben across the half back line. Today we threw in a number of under 14 players into our side and they all had great games especially Liam. It was pleasing to see Andrew who is normally a backman kick a couple of goals. In the last quarter I asked the players to run the game out as next weeks match is Easts, it'll be a tough game as we're still be down a couple of mid field players. However I'm looking forward to it, hopefully we can be competitive against them. David

Not our best effort this week, we started slow and let them get away to a big lead. Just when we started to come back in the second quarter and got on top, the boys started playing soccer and stopped going hard at the ball. That's when Dalby got back on top and ran the game out. Joseph Cook, Sam Cooper and Brodie Carlish played well in a beaten team. John

Coolaroo got off to slugish start against Dalby. It seemed that the trip to Dalby proved to be a bit long. The second quarter proved to be a turning point as the boys found there feet. Third quarter was all Coolaroo with numerous goals scored leaving Dalby startled. The last quarter saw an evenly posied gamed with the ball going both ways on numerous occasions. Well done to the boys for coming back from behind.
