Practice Games vs Oakleigh Cannons
The U14 & U15 boys travelled to Melbourne today to take on NPL team Oakleigh Cannons in a practice match. Both Oakleigh teams were undefeated in their NPL age groups this year so it was going to be a big test for the Gippsland boys.
The U14's fought hard all match but were outclassed by a very good Oakleigh team but will benefit from the experience. The U15's played some excellent football and ended up 3-2 winners which was very encouraging given this was their 1st practice game for the year. We would also like to thank Oakleigh for their hospitality.
All 3 boys team will take on Casey Comets next Sunday in another practice match.
