Well done and thanks to all involved in making yesterday a great day for our club.
Being without a home ground for training and playing and having to travel long distance for our practice match isn't ideal, however it proves if we have dedicated volunteers and players we are able to get through this adversity and actually enjoy ourselves at the same time.
Rupanyup FNC were extremely appreciative of us and our support and are looking forward to a return match at Avoca next season.
The playing surface of our football ground is ahead of schedule so hopefully we can bring training back earlier than previously thought.
We now have a short break before our round one encounter which I know we are all looking forward to.
Lets continue our momentum in the lead up to the season and I ask that all players and supporters get to our respective training venues over the coming weeks.
As I said this is not ideal but extremely important we all work through this.
We still have a few match day roles to be filled, so if anyone would like to assist, please contact me to discuss.
Remember our club philosophy
"someone does't do everything, everyone does something"
Again thank you to all involved yesterday, the professionalism shown on the day and the way we conducted ourselves will enable us to bring about the change required to achieve the successes we so desire.
Remember: Avoca FNC- A fun place to be.
