Round 4 at Allard Park saw North Brunswick's ressies notch up their 3rd win for the season as they ran out convincing 35 point winners.
After getting off to a flyer with Ahmad 'Taxi' Taha kicking 2 early goals, North Brunswick went in to quarter time 27 points in front. Corey Hall showed class to kick himself an early major, and the North boys were also benefitting from the in and under work of the Ackland borthers. Captain Trev 'Axe' Ackland and new recruit Nathan 'Tomahawk' Ackland were both finding the footy regualrly and with help from Lukey Spano on the wing, the early signs were positive.
In the second, Bulleen worked themselves back into the game, kicking 4 goals to one for the term and cutting the margin to 7 points at half time.
The second half was all North Brunswick, sandy Famulari in his first game back notched up 4 goals and John Papanikalou kicked himself 3 as North put on 6 goals to one in the second half. Co Captain Jamie Comley even ran off a former North Brunswick player to kick a cheeky goal whilst Adam Esposto and Troy Geary both brought their own footy in the second half.
A big test next week, coming up against West Brunswick. Good luck to the ressies as they go for win number 4 for 2008.
