At home again for Round 4, this time hosting Bulleen Cobras who were also chasing their first win of the year, this match shaped up as one that should be a close one. Unfortunately this was not the case, as Bulleen romped home by 70 points.
After a reasonable first half, North Brunswick were never really in the contest after half time and overall it was a disappointing day. Shining lights were Anthony Saad's 5 goals up forward, and Jason Harkins' efforts in the backline and then on the ball later in the game.
Next week we face West Brunswick in the local derby. This promises to be a tough task. Hopefully we are able to see a much improved performance after our worse loss of the season.
The match will be at McAllistair Park, West Brunswick's home ground, hopefully our supporters will be down in force to support us on the day.
North Brunswick 7.2.44 def by Bulleen Cobras 17.12.114
Goals: Saad 5, Manoukian 1, Twaddle 1.
