NORTH SHORE TAKE OUT FLAG
Monday, 12 September 2005
North Shore have secured back to back premiership wins on the weekend with a crushing 41 point win over the minor premiers Western Suburbs in the 2005 Sydney Football League Grand Final. Western Suburbs went into the game as favourites having only lost one game for the season and had beaten North Shore by over 10 goals in both games during the home and away season. But Grand Final footy is different and the Bombers went to work on Saturday and implemented a game plan that unravelled the Magpies and brought the premiership cup to Gore Hill for the second year in a row.
