Pre season update.
We are in full swing and we have had good numbers attending our training sessions. There have been a lot of new faces around the club and it's good to see most of the familiar faces also, "none of them have got any prettier".
Shane (Physco) Sykes is leading the way for the new recruits along with Ryan (Doc) Eddy & some of the young fellows aren't far behind, just to name a couple Della, Stickers & Matty Staff.Heading the way for the familiar faces is the pace setter Hooch along with Shane Brown right on his tail and stepping up from last season is Aaron Hocking and his brother Cam with the others set of brothers Matt & Luke Manning working hard not forgetting Johnny K, Harv's & Bamf just naming a few.
After listening to the coaches and to what they had to say!
Ron is happy with the efforts shown by the players around the club and the way the young fellows have set there sights on having ago in the seniors, he also spoke about the new guy's and how they have fitted in nicely."Well the next few weeks will tell as we have a couple of practice matches coming up".
Gary spoke about the improved attitude of the players once they got to training and said how some of the players had worked hard, I can't believe some of the players haven't missed to many training nights, can you believe it Tuch hasn't missed to many and yeah Stewie is always putting in, it's very pleasing.
Daryl said he had a few new faces but was disappointed with the inconsistency you see them at both training sessions that week then you don't see them for another 2 weeks, but our numbers are good in the 19's, it will makes things hard when we have practice matches with some of the players fit & some just getting through but still looks good for 2008.
As you can see on our home page the coaches have set out the training dates as they lead us to the practice matches, I see there is some Sunday morning training sessions.
"Go Lions".
