Bunnings Hardware BBQ - AFL Registration Promotion

Many thanks to all the volunteers who assisted the Penrith Swans - Bunnings Hardware BBQ on Sunday 28 Jan. The bbq was run to generate interest for junior AFL registrations for Season 2008.

By all reports, the day was a great success - all thanks of course to the fantastic teamwork of all concerned. Darryl Young once again proved to be a great leader with his superb organisational skills in getting this event off the ground.

Many thanks go a large number of dedicated Club members: Darryl Young, Jene & Scott Duffus, Karen & Jack Ponton, Wayne & Jessica Noble, Nick Perry, Paula & Liam Murphy, Kim, Laurence & Ben Mayer, Paul Swinfield, Steve Lindeback, Adam Fisher, Deirdre Hall, Phil Lane, Wendy & Amy Wade, Luke Simmons & Jack McFarlane.

The club especially appreciated those u14-16 players above, who did their club a great service with their dedication to club support.

The day resulted in a great way to meet people & promote our club & junior AFL. It was also a fantastic way to raise funds for the benefit of the kids in Season 2008.

Thanks once again from the Penrith Swans and to Bunnings Hardware for their support to Community organisations.
