Thank you for showing interest in trialing to play for NCFNC in 2017.
NCFNC as a club over the last few years has invested a lot of time and effort in improving our not only our netball club coaches, management, policies and processes, but the club as a whole being a welcoming, inclusive, social and friendly environment for all family members not only our players. We value and treat equally all our players regardless of what level of netball they are playing for NCFNC; the most important thing is to keep children in sport for as long as they can.
In part this has created an increased demand to join and play for NCFNC. We have experienced consistent growth over the last 2 years. An indication is another 30 new players over Summer 2016 joining our club with NCFNC now fielding 18 teams; 2014 saw us fielding 12 teams. Our continued success with 4 consecutive GFNL A Grade Grand Finals wins in our senior netball teams lead by our Senior Coach and Selector Jason Woolley is a huge factor in this, with our senior coaches and players actively involved in our junior netball programs including coaching. Our pathways are strong.
We have made the decision to move forward our trials to November instead of February to ensure our junior players, teams and coaches all have more time and opportunity to plan and aim for increased junior netball team success as a club in 2017. It also allows us to make sure we have coaching capacity to ensure all players 'get a game'.
As a netball committee, we are very excited and humbled as we know that our hard work is starting to pay off and we must be doing something right!
