The Kenmore Bears have had their most successful weekend of the season with the seniors, reserves and under 18s teams winning their matches.
The seniors and reserves accounted for Caboolture at Chelmer Oval and the under 18s downed Burleigh in a thrilling encounter on the Gold Coast.
The reserves started the weekend off strongly beating Caboolture by six goals.
Josh Bretherton starred in front of the sticks with 4 majors while Glenn Ferguson, Stuart Bradshaw and Ashley Bone each contributed with 2.
Ben Pollitt's four quarter effort saw him named best on ground for the resurgent Bears outfit, which has won two and drawn one of its last four matches.
The seniors managed to down Caboolture in a seesawing shootout by 15 points.
The Bears lead comfortably early on in the match, but a second quarter revival saw both sides evenly locked at half time.
Brendan Stirling's three goals in 10 minutes in the third quarter restored the Bears' lead, but a tough final quarter saw Caboolture claw within 10 points.
Caboolture had a number of opportunities late in the match, but inaccuracy in front of goals cost them dearly.
Shayne Etherton had a day out in front of goals bagging five, whilst Tim Beadel and Brendan Stirling contributed with four and three respectively.
Inspirational leader, Peter Stowasser, was fantastic all day, as was tagger Ian Maughan who nullified Caboolture's top playmaker.
The victory moves the Bears into fourth spot on the ladder.
