The Kenmore Bears take on 8th place Alex Hills on Saturday afternoon hoping to continue the form that saw them secure their second win of the season last week.
Returning for just his second game of the year is key forward Tristan Shaw who has been battling chronic hamstring injuries since round 1 against Robina.
The addition of Shaw to the already potent forward line will bolster the Bears' chances of kicking another winning score. Sitting 3rd on points scored for the year, the Bears will be hoping for another strong performance from their forwards.
New season recruit Ryan Rule, who has been away in the Caribbean for the past month, returns to strengthen the side. Having played in the early season matches his departure left a big hole in the backline.
Alex Hills who have lost 2 of their 3 home games this season will be eager to get back on the winners list after a poor performance against Coorparoo last weekend.
Greg Stirling who has been making a name for himself through the midfield is optimistic that his side can continue on their winning way this weekend.
It was great to get another win under the belt and with Shawry (Tristan Shaw) and Junior (Ryan Rule) coming back into the side, we're only going to get better. If we can get another win this week and with 6th place Caloundra at home next week, we have a very real possibility of winning 3 in a row and getting back into finals contention."
Will the side almost back to full strength another win this weekend can get the Bears roaring toward September.
