On the back of 4 consecutive loses the Kenmore Bears Football Club is in damage control and a victory on Saturday is the only option for the struggling side.
Jeff Williams has named the strongest backline of the year in the hope that they can arrest the form that has seen them leak the second most points in the league in front of only Wynnum, the team they play on Saturday.
A return to form from Shayne Etherton last week has the team on a high, knowing that a victory is on the horizon.
The inclusion of unheralded youngster Steve Webster is a positive move from the coaching panel. Seventeen year old Webster has been staring in the Under 18s and has finally been given his chance this weekend. He joins fellow under 18s Cameron Stirling and Tim Beadel already in the side.
A victory this weekend could see the Bears move as high as sixth on the ladder and with matches against Alex Hills and Caloundra in the weeks to come a victory on Saturday could get their season back on track.
