Werribee - 17.10 - 112
Casey Scorpions - 15.14 - 104
Goals: Podsiadly 5, Garth 3, Young 2, Faulkner 2, Henderson, Barham, Twomey, Tiller, Hassan
Best: Young, McGuinness, Hassan, Barham, Power, Purss
Travis Baird - Played well in his first game back since his shoulder injury. Was competitive on the half forward flank and up the wing. Got better as the game went on.
Cameron Faulkner - Continued in a tagging role against a good opponent which has been a good learning curve for him. Also managed to kick two goals which was very positive to see.
Damian McCormack - Played the majority of the game across the half back line in what was a steady performance. His intensity continues to increase each week and I don't think he is to far away from playing senior football.
Kieran McGuinness - Played a very good game on the wing and the half forward flank, gathering 24 possessions. Showed great courage any many stages of the game and his strong marking was impressive.
Brad Murphy - Brad has certainly improved his intensity over the past few weeks and it showed on the weekend with his tackling out of the forward line. He finished with 6 tackles all together.
Sam Power - Was particularly good in the second half for the match. Played on a dangerous opponent on the wing and shut him down while still managing to win a lot of his own ball as well.
Stephen Tiller - Finished with one goal in his second game at senior level in what was a good learning curve as he continues to learn that leading forward role.
Cameron Wight - Was steady down back. He has really worked on his consistency and his body work.
WERRIBEE PLAYERS
Jordan Barham - Was lively up forward early but also spent some time down back where he was also a good contributor.
Salim Hassan - Was hard at the football all day and was one of our key midfielders throughout the match.
Jarred Young - Played a tagging role on AFL listed player Stephen Powell and did a great job at restricting his impact.
Cameron Purss - Competed well in the ruck all game against some quality opponents.
James Podsiadly - Kicked four of his five goals in the third quarter when the opposition really started to challenge us.
Tim Allen - Is starting to get the right mix of attack and defence and ended up with 30 possessions for the match.
