Dennis Fowler, Life Member of the Coburg Football Club died Last Tuesday. He was 83.
Dennis was involved with the Coburg Football Club for over 30 years. He was the Club's VFA delegate for over 10 years and became a life member of the VFA.
Dennis joined the Coburg Football Club in 1966. He acted as Chairman of Selectors during the 1970's and was famous for organising the weekly Tattslotto ticket.
When the Coburg Football Club celebrated it's first Grand Final Flag in 51 years in 1979, Brian Wells, the Club's Secretary was overseas. Dennis stepped in as Acting Secretary and made it into the Grand Final photograph which adorned the walls of the Social Club for many years.
Dennis was active in the community, having always lived in Coburg. Not only a life member of the Coburg Football Club, he was also a life member of the Coburg Cricket Club.
Dennis is survived by his wife Edna and three children.
