Catholic Regional College defeated Western Heights Secondary College in an absolute nailbiter to take out the Geelong Region Grand Final held on Thursday 25th May at Highton Reserve. A 5 goal last term saw CRC come from behind to win, but it was a kick after the siren which confirmed their victory in a game of a particularly high standard. Jack Brown from CRC was awarded the Terry Bright medal as the player adjudged best afield.
CRC will now play Emmanuel College (Warrnambool) on June 13th at Colac's Central reserve, the winner to proceed to the semi-finals of the competition.
