It was a big night for our Sunshine Coast regional under 14's "Power" team on Monday night. First on the training track and then following with a jumper presentation.
Past West Coast Eagle, Geelong Cat and Western Australian state player Derek Hall paid a visit to assist with training and present the players with their jumpers.
The final 25 Power players were recognised for their efforts and then received their playing jumper.
The leadership group was also named with Mitch Langan (Noosa) as captain and Jakob Hartup (Bribie Island) and Tex Dixon (Noosa) as his deputy's. Mitch and Tex are joined in the 25 man squad by fellow Tigers Charlie Bowes and Oscar Stewart.
With the guidance of their wonderful community coaches Anthony Williams, Kris Brown, Jason Sherriff and Rohan Collins the team will compete in the state championships that start this Sunday at Fishermans Road, Maroochydore.
