That said, we are still very much in the fight and a we certainly need to bounce back this coming Saturday against Noble Park at secure a top of the ladder finish.
The Reserves did secure top position and a week off with their win, but the Under 19’s had a bye and need to defeat Noble Park next Saturday to also achieve that. Forest Hill Eagles won by 92pts and will play in the a Final next week at Mitcham.
The Junior Club had a huge weekend with six sides playing, and our congratulations go to the Under 11 A’s who won the Premiership. Commiseration to the other teams who did not have such luck losing , three games by 8 points or less. What a fantastic season the Junior Club has produced gain, with record number of kids and 5 teams in Grand Finals. They are one of our biggest assets
Theonly that but the percentage difference of just 7% betwenn us and balwyn means that if we want to hold top position we need to win this week against Noble Park or Rowville takes care of Balwyn. A fabulous situation as far as the Football League is concerned.
