Hello South West Tigers,
some important dates are coming up for the club:
1. Wednesday next week 10 August our GWS Giants club ambassador Aidan Corr is coming out to the club to visit and help out with training. All age groups are attending and AUSKICKERS ARE INVITED TOO!
2. We will be having our last committee meeting for the season on Monday 15 August at 7:00pm at Mounties. All are welcome to attend the general business part of this meeting which will be short as we will be counting the best and fairest votes for the season after that.
3. We have been lucky enough to have been given the U15 and U17 semi finals on Sunday 21 August. Because we have 2 grounds the AFL has asked us to host the Auskick, U9s and U10s Gala Day that will be running on the same day. This will be a great day for the club.
4. The Regional Presentation Evening will be held on Monday 29 August at Mounties for the top players in each competition and the representative players. The Regional Committee will advise us which players are possibly up for awards and the exact time.
5. Last date to remember is our Club Presentation Day which will be held at Mounties Bowls Club in Fairfield on 17 September. Arrive at 2:30pm for a 3:00pm start. Once it is done we will invite you to have barefoot bowls until it gets too dark to play. We will then be holding the club AGM inside the same location aiming to start at 6:00pm which everyone is invited to.
