Hello everyone
Well it was really pleasing that our NEAFL team had a victory last weekend and have put themselves back in the running for a top 4 position.
The game was reported as a grinding 10 point win over Southport in wet conditions at Graham Road
Aspley heads to Darwin this weekend to take on second-placed NT Thunder in a must win game. Saturday 6.30 pm.
Aspley welcomes back defender Gavin Grose after his overseas holiday so we hope he is super fit as his presence if he is on song will definitely strengthen the team.
Henry Joyce plays his 50th game so hopefully that will give the boys a bit of extra incentive.
The QFA are back from their bye and play Moreton Bay at Graham Road Saturday at 11.45 am and 2.00 pm for the Seniors.
Likewise the Colts are back from a bye and play Broadbeach on Saturday morning at Graham Road 9.30 am.
Our Women’s team who are currently running 5th on the ladder will want to get the points in their game against Qld University at Graham Road on Saturday at 4.45 pm to maintain their position.
Our Masters teams are back from their break and play the Bayside Bombers on Saturday afternoon at Brendale. 45s at 1.00 pm and 35s at 3.00 pm.
Do not forget we have our Coaching Course on Monday night in the Function Room at the club starting at 6.30 pm our presenter Peter Ryan.
