Reunion Time

The Avoca Football Netball Club will be holding a Reunion on the weekend of Saturday 20^th and 21^st August to celebrate the 20 year Reunion of the 1996 Senior & Reserves Football Premierships and the Runner Up Under 16 team. We will also be celebrating the 1997 Senior, Reserves and Under 16 Premierships & 1998 Senior & Reserves Premierships at this event.

To make it easier for our organising committee, the club has decided to incorporate the Reunion into celebrating all of these football premierships together.

So if you were involved in the Avoca Football Netball Club in any capacity from 1996 to 1998, you are invited to attend the forthcoming reunion.

The Reunion will also incorporate a number of successful netball teams of the past.

1976 – 40 year reunion of the Under 17 and Under 14 Premiership teams.

1986 – 30 year reunion of the Senior grade, Under 17 & Under 14 Premiership teams.

1996 – 20 year reunion of the Under 17 & Under 14 Premiership teams

2006 – 10 year reunion of the A Grade & Under 14 Premiership team.

If you were a member of any of these teams you are also invited to celebrate your past glory at our forthcoming Reunion.

Or if you are a past footballer or netballer of any era and would like to attend, then feel free to come along.

Anyone that is a current or former Bulldog of any era is welcome to attend this event.

The club invites you to attend the Avoca Public Park on the match day of Round 16 which is against our old rivals in Natte-Bealiba. Then the after match festivities will be held at Argyle Property where we will be holding our annual Woolshed Dance.

Sunday morning at 10.30am will be a pleasant Sunday gathering with a BBQ Lunch provided.

Round 16 is also a day for our OLD DOGS club members to come back and renew old acquaintances. OLD DOGS Club members receive complimentary entry into the game and to the Woolshed Dance, so this may be an option if you would like to keep your expenses to a minimum.
